I just posted this on Twitter: Over the past few days, I have been trying to publish a few of my ideas on how a @hopsworks #online and #offline #featurestore compares to a #database and a #datawarehouse. Lots of people reached out to me - in spite of the graphics not being ideal - I had a lof of text in there. Follow me there @ rvanbruggen

I just posted this on Twitter: Here's how I would summarize my own thoughts wrt the differences between (#online and #offline) #featurestores in the #ai and #ml space (left/green - eg. @hopsworks ) and the #databases and #datawarehouses in the #applications and #analytics space (right/red). https://t.co/AZskrKmvOC Follow me there @ rvanbruggen

I just posted this on Twitter: Earlier I was comparing #online #machinelearning #features with #database #attributes. Now I would like to show you, side by side, a way to look at the difference between #offline feature storage (eg. in @hopsworks ) and #datawarehousing persistence. https://t.co/MnwH0vW9qd Follow me there @ rvanbruggen

I just posted this on Twitter: @hopsworks The crucial difference is that "features" are suited for #ml - and "attributes" less so. All of this of course will be complemented by an #offline set of #machinelearning #features - and a #datawarehouse for historical analytics. More on that later. Follow me there @ rvanbruggen

I just posted this on Twitter: At @hopsworks , I often get people asking me for the difference between "online" #machinelearning #features and traditional #database #attributes. Of course there are similarities and there is overlap - but the difference is real. https://t.co/HCL2NQM66w Follow me there @ rvanbruggen
